Something New for the Fam...

So Ryan has been wanting a new truck for awhile now. So I finally broke down and we have been looking for 2005 Ford F150. We finally found one that we loved and also the right price. I have to admit its so nice to drive and I also have the happiest husband alive right now, and thats all that matters to me... I love you sweetie!!!



Its so funny because now both of my boys have a ford f150 and almost the same color. Like father like son. :)

Lets go Fishing...

So the other day me and my sister decided to take our boys fishing at the Roy pond. Bodee loved every min of it. Especially when Ryan caught one, he would hurry up and go help Ryan reel it in. We tried to catch fish on his little spider man pole but we had no luck. I don't know if it was the pole or the person trying to fish with it. Since my 10 year old nephew who told me that I had no skill at all, thanks Ryan! I do have to say Ryan is a pro at fishing. He caught a 7.5 lb 32in cat fish in that pond a couple days before we went, I think that was way awesome. Here are a couple of pics of our afternoon...










Ryan's friend Breaden came along with us and he caught his first fish ever it was so cute! We were all very excited for him. Way to go Breaden!!

A Mother's Worst Nightmare!

So Saturday we decided to go to Rock port to go fishing, since Ryan's brother was up there camping. Well while Ryan and his brother went on the boat me and his sister in law decided to just chill by the campground. Bodee was walking around and then all of the sudden he tripped into the fire pit! I didn't even have enough time to tell him to move away from it, it just happened within a second. The fire wasn't going it was the hot wood dying down. Still it was hot enough to burn my son, I was freaking out luckily Wendie has really fast at pulling him out and dumping a gallon of water on him. I will have nightmares of the day of him screaming so hard and just holding on to me. So we got hold of the guys and they came rushing back. Ryan and I took Bodee to Primary Children's Hospital since it was closer than any where else. I still can't believe after 10 Min's of screaming he was acting fine like nothing happened but then there was me who was freaking out and couldn't stop crying. At the hospital we had to wait 3 hours to get in which was fine since Bodee was having a blast driving there little car that they had around.

The doctors at the hospital were amazing they were so nice and very gentle with Bodee. I do not want to go through that again, it just killed me to see him like that and it still bothers me to even look at it. I do have a picture of his arm I took it while we were cleaning it. The good news is that I took him to the doctors today and they said it looks really good and shouldn't scare that bad. It looks a whole lot better today then on Sunday when we took this picture.

Kyle Petty Charity Bike Ride...

So on Mother's day we decide to just shop around and enjoy the day. When we went to the gas station I saw that about 200 motorcycles will be coming in and the gas station will be closed. Well I thought that would be so much fun for Bodee to see, since he likes motorcycles (he calls them gycycles). When I told Ryan he said oh ya that's that nascar drive that does charity's for kids. But when we got there we found out that Kyle Petty was actually coming!! (for those you don't know him his dad is Richard Petty with the cowboy hat) I'm not much of a nascar fan but I still thought it was pretty cool. So here are some pictures from that day, I actually got my picture taken with him. Also we were on channel 13 news for that event even though I didn't know until the next day.

Its all about Bodee!

We been having a blast with this warm weather! We took Bodee fishing off shore one day and the next on our boat. The boat was a little hard to get pictures so all of these are on the shore. We bought him a spiderman fishing pole and he hasn't put it down since.











These are pictures of Bodee with his friend Ethan. They just love being with each other it is the cuttest thing. Me and Danielle took them to the park so they can run wild.





This is what Bodee found at the park, its like a little digger. Bodee got so aggressive over this toy he started to chuck sand at some boy to get off. I have never seen that side of bodee before. I was so shocked since he's so shy, it took me a min to just realise what just happened.

Catching Up...

So I haven't posted for awhile since I don't have a sd card so I haven't been able to take any pictures, I just wanted to catch up on somethings. Well the past two weeks me and my family have been soooo sick. It first started off on Monday with Bodee with the coughing and runny nose. Then the next day it was the fever among with the others, his temp just kept going up and down. I thought I didn't need to take him to the doctors because I THOUGHT he had this before so I just did what I did last time. Well by Thursday in the morning his fever broke and he was acting ok so I thought it would be ok to go to my hair appt and drop him off at my sisters. Well in the middle of my appt. I get this phone call that I need to stop and rush Bodee to the doctors.

So I did my hair was colored and I still have half of a haircut done (going in tomorrow to fix it) You do what you have to for your kids. So my sister told me that his fever is back up to 102.9 and that he does not look good. Well needless to say he had influenza A, which along with that he had to really two really bad ear infections and a sore throat. He lost 3 lbs since he wouldn't eat or drink anything for a week. I seriously had to use a syringe to get fluids down in him,I can't believe how sick he was. So Monday Bodee got it then my husband got it. We just gave him some meds that we had around home and thought that they would work but no. I ended up taking him in since he started to cough up blood and not telling me about until it was like the third day of it.

He ended up having some bacteria in his throat that was going into his system, so now he's on three meds to take care of that problem. I just wish he would of told me sooner but that's men for ya. I just ended up getting the cold it went away faster than Bodee and Ryan. Seriously its so hard when the whole fam is sick nothing gets done.

Lost SD card to Camera :(

So I totally lost my sd card from my digital camera. I took it to develop some pictures at walmart. I know for a fact I took it out of the thing and put it in my purse then I went to go check out. When I got home I went to put the sd card back in my camera it wasn't there! I have called walmart, went back to walmart that night and left my info and went back one more time. It just makes me sick because EVERY picture I have taken of Bodee is on that SD card:( I am hoping that I have some pictures on a cd somewhere but who really knows. So I have no pictures to post for awhile until I get a new SD card. So moral of my story please everyone back up your pictures on a disk just in case this happens to you.

Our Weekend..

This is whats been going on in the Tesch household. Saturday on Valentines Day I got the cutest monkey balloon from my son, he picked it out himself. Things like that mean more to me than flowers and candy. I just loved being with my family more, I totally have to agree with a lot of girls on Valentines it is overrated I just rather spend money on a nice meal or just spending the time at home.

Saturday was also my nephew colton's 12Th birthday so me and Bodee went to dinner with my family while Ryan stayed behind. Which was totally fine, ever since he started this weightlifting thing he does not go out to eat. He's doing awesome he just eats tons and tons of protein with no salt or anything. But anyway after dinner me and Bodee picked Ryan up and we went and bought Bodee his helmet (picture below). He loves it so much its cute!

Also Saturday we put Bodee in his room for the second time, the first time it did not work at all. So we just ended up putting his bed by ours and he's been like that for a couple of months BUT this time when we put him in his room he stayed!(well sort of) He does still get up at night but he is so out of our room. Last night was the first night he slept through the night! we are making progress, I can't believe it has taken us 2 years to do this but at least we are doing it now.


Now its time for a second kid! Me and Ryan are talking about it. If we do we want it to be due in Feb, March or April. I dont want another January baby.

Ready Set Go.....

Bodee LOVES football! I just think it so much fun to hear him say "Ready Set Go!" then he runs all over the house with the ball in his hand. Then he will turn around and chuck the ball to us then he runs right for us. We then tackle him down and all he does is laughs (he gets the giggles it so cute) so the whole time hes out of breath from playing but he just keeps on going. I just can't believe my two year old knows how to play football already, they grow up way to fast. On Valentines Day we gave him a helmet and it came with the shirt and pants. He hasn't put it down that night he slept with it. One day he will be our little quarter back!

Unwelcome Vistor....

I bet no one can guess what we had in our house.....TWICE! So on Sunday we were just sitting around. Ryan was on the phone talking to his sister and me and Bodee were headed downstairs, pretty normal day I would say. Well right when I was going to put my foot down on the bottom of the stairs I saw something move away. I bet no one can guess what it was...no not a mouse! it was a SNAKE I never screamed so loud in my life. For some reason this stupid snake well not go away this would be the second time in my house. The first time me and Ryan heard something flipping around in the same stop. But right when ryan was going to catch him he went right back into the wall!!!! so this time we got the chance to kick him far away outside. After all the screaming I hurried and got my camera, hope you can see him.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Ryan and Bodee. Bodee has turned into such a daddy's little boy. He used just want me but the older he gets the more he wants his daddy. I think it so adorable how Ryan plays with his son LOVE him!

Bodee and Ty

I stole these pictures from my mother in law (hope you dont mind). But I thought they were so cute! This is the truck that Bodee got for christmas and he got hurt in it, so now he will just ride in the passenger side and his counsin driving him around. Ty drove them up and down the street so my mother in law came out and took these pictures. I love the fact she is always ready to take awesome pictures!

Ethan and Bodee

This is Ethan Bodee's little friend. They are so cute together they just love playing and laughing at each other. This was at Ethan's birthday party, we went to surf and swim. I didn't think Bodee would swim since last year he hated it. But man he just jumped right in and had a blast. Me and Danielle try to get our kids together more often since it helps us both out. Bodee gets so board during the day with no one really to play with except his boring mom. I love playing with him but I also have chores to do so it just gets hard. So at least once a week he sees his friend Ethan. They are just so cute!

Waiting just a little bit longer...

I just want to thank everyone for the email addresses. But I have decided to wait a little bit longer to go private just in case I find more people I know that has a blog and want to keep in touch. Its hard because you want people that you know to find you but then you don't want creepy people looking at your blog especially when kids are involved. Happy Birthday Bodee!!!

Today is Bodee's 2 birthday! I can't believe how much time flies. The parties began yesterday with Ryan's side. We decided make his side more of a actual kids party since there are more little ones on his side.Our theme was airplanes, so we had a airplane pinata' filled with tons of candy. Then me and Ryan tempted to make a cake shaped into a airplane. We actually did really good I was really surprised. Ryan did most of it he loves being involved with anything do with his little boy. I have pics that I will post later, I totally have to show off our cake because it took like 2 hours to make.

He got some really cool toys and clothes from his cousins and grandparents. Like his Ed Hardy shirt it so cute along with some other awesome shirts, then he got this football player that kicks the ball really far. He's been dragging that thing around all day.But he mostly just LOVES playing with the kids, he has so much fun with them. Yesterday was a little exhausting though we had Ryan's little nephew that is 3 to come over for a little bit and played right before the party. So Bodee didn't have his usual nap so around 630 when everyone left he totally crashed for the night. It was totally worth it though I l just love watching Bodee play with other kids.

Then today on Bodee's actual birthday my side came over and had pizza and cake. And of coarse he got some more gifts, it totally feels like Christmas again. He got more clothes (which I love that he did makes it easier for me since hes growing like a weed) and a really cool 4wheeler that hooks to a truck that he pushes around and more construction stuff. My parents gave him the v-smile and he just loves it! My baby is growing up and its so sad I want him to stay little forever.

He was so Sweet...

I totally have to give props to my husband. He did an amazing job with my birthday yesterday. It first started with getting flowers which were bright pink roses with yellowish red Lillie's, they were beautiful he also gave me my favorite cheese cake oringinal with cherry topping YUMMY! Then he took me out to dinner to the olive garden,which is one of my favorite restaurants. We took Bodee with us, which we should have gotten a babysitter since my son was screaming throughout our whole dinner, But it still turned out okay. Then I dragged Ryan shopping at the mall for a few things, I loved him for that since I know that he HATES shopping and he also did not complain.

Then we got home Ryan got the bath ready for me to take a hot bath it was so sweet. I got to relax with my mp3 player, while Ryan was taking care of Bodee. I could hear Bodee crying because mom was stealing his bath (he LOVES taking baths) I could hear him say "MOMMA WANT BATH, MOMMA WANT BATH" Ryan handled it like a pro because some how he got him to clam down for a few mins. So when I got out of the bath tub I gave Bodee his bath. While I was cleaning the tub from my bath I screamed to Bodee "ARE YOU READY?" he screams back "READY" he is so stinkin cute I love him.

Also I can't forget my amazing friends Michelle and Chan, along with Heidi and my niece and nephew took me to breakfast for my birthday.

Were you married when you found out you were pregnant? Yes, we been married 3 years when we found out I was pregnant.

What were your reactions when you found out you were pregnant? I was so excited we were trying for one it didn't take long which was great.

How old were you? 24

How did you find out you were pregnant? I started to feel sick I thought maybe it was that time of month. But in my mind I was so hoping I was pregnant. So I went to go take a test and it was barely positive they said I was probably just 3 weeks along.

Did you want to find out the sex? Of coarse I did but deep down I knew it was going to be a boy. When we found out it was a boy Ryan flew out of his seat with enjoyment it was so cute!

Due date? January 25th. I actually had him on my due date. I was suppose to started on the 23rd but they cancelled on me an hour before I had to go in. It was the worse thing ever, they shouldn't be able to do that to a pregnant woman it was the saddest day ever. So they started me on the 25th.

Did you deliver early or late? On time

Did you have morning sickness? A little bit but not to bad. It was a pretty good pregnancy for the most part.

What did you crave? I loved subways, choc., and those dollar pizzas you get at the store I had one everyday. Finally the doctor had to stop me because it was getting to unhealthy for me, it was sad and the hardest thing since I craved them.

Did you get stretch marks? No thank goodness!!

What was your first child's sex? boy

How many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy? I can't believe how much I gained and still I don't think people believe me but I gained 55 pounds! Luckily it was water weight and came right off a couple months later.

Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? No not really. I got that rash towards the end but I can't think of the name of it.

Where did you give birth? Davis Hospital Layton, UT I loved it also I totally agree with Keri

How many hours were you in labor? 8 hours

Was it natural or c-section? Natural. But I personally think I should of had a c-section because he did not want to come out. It seriously took like little over an hour of pushing it was horrible and very painful.

Did you take anything to ease the pain?OF COURSE, I'm the same way with Keri. Who wants to feel that if you can take something for the pain? It was awesome when you have this little button you can push for more.

How much did your child weigh? 8 lbs even

What did you name him/her? Bodee David Tesch

How old is your first born today? He is going to be 2 in like 2 weeks.

Is he/she named after anyone? Yes, his middle name is after Ryan's dads name.

How long were you in the hospital after birth? 2 days

Who was in the delivery room with you?Just Ryan, that's the best way to go! Unless you have a sister who sits outside trying to peek.

Are you ready for another?Definitely, I just want to plan it right. I don't want another January baby.

New Years Eve

So this year for New Years my family decided to go to my parents house for a party. We wanted to start a new tradition for the kids. My mom wanted to have everyone come over have dinner and play some games, then at midnight go sledding. Since she lives on the Bountiful bench there are some huge hills around.

Well it first started with my niece (my sisters daughter) she felt sick around 1 and by 3 she was throwing up(sorry but it gets worse). So her and my brother in law stayed home. Well then my nephew wanted to ride up with my brother since he was leaving earlier than my sister. So when they left my sister got a phone call from my brother that my nephew was throwing up in his truck. Ya it was great! everyone was sick or feeling sick (which was me I had a cold). So the party was getting smaller by the min. So eventually my sister took him back home.

When that was all over with we still had a great time. We ate, played our games and had our laughs. They still went out at midnight but me and Ryan stayed back since I was sick which was sad I wanted to go. We all spent the night and in the morning we had a huge breakfast then went home and slept some more. Thank you mom and dad for the good times!

Christmas Eve

I know that I am such a slacker (well according to my sister). Christmas first started off with the Tesch party at my house. It was a little insane with 12 kids running around but it turned out great. We always have the famous homemade chicken noodle soup and cake made by my mother in law it was awesome as usual. Then we open presents, we had toys everywhere. The kids were so happy and thats all that matters.

Then we move on to the Alvey party which was at my brother's house. We ate a fabulous dinner then usually we play bingo but somebody forgot to bring it. So this year we skipped that and moved on to the candy bar game. Then finally opened presents. After a long day of parties we finally went home and crashed.

But of coarse this year was different since now Bodee is getting older we finally get to play "Santa". So we had to wait until he went to bed, but that was a little diffcult since he wanted to play with his new toys he got from the parties. Finally we went went to bed we got out his toys.

This year we got him a power wheel F150 truck which of coarse was Ryan's idea. Well we had to hide it down in the very basement so Bodee wouldn't see it. So when it came time to bring it up, it was so very heavy we had to climb up two flights of stairs carrying it sideways since it wouldn't fit the other way. Oh my I am so glad that I don't have to do that again.

When Bodee woke up that morning he was just beaming he loved his truck along with his other million toys. He was definitely spoiled this year that's for sure.

So we had a pretty good christmas this year. Me and Ryan decided not to give each other gifts this year and spend more on Bodee. Since thats what really matters anyway. I did take some pictures I will post them later.
